This beautiful instrument is Sound of China's signature piece! It is custom-designed by
our guzheng professional.
Both top and bottom sound boards use natural air-dried single piece paulownia. The
frame is made by top quality black sandalwood engraved with Chinese poems describing
the beautiful sound of guzheng. The bridges are professional grade rosewood bridges.
The soundboard of this model is selected from professional grade flatsawn-cut. This
instrument sounds full and resonant with strong bass and sweet high range.
We do not sell flame-dried instrument that has charcoal like dark soundboard. The flame-
dried board although can speed up the drying process, but the sound quality is not
optimal. It generally sounds metallic with short lifespan.
This guzheng is supervised and signed by the gold medal award winner Mr. Wang
Jianchun of the Tianyi Factory. Mr. Wang Jianchun's instruments are the favorite among
the professional guzheng players for their full sounding and versatility.
This guzheng comes with the whole package that leads you to enjoy playing. We provide
set-up instruction that's easy to follow. Help on set-up and playing is always offered over
